Following Carls post regarding The Crossbow Calendar and a bit of background to it …..
The Crossbow Calendar has become something of A cult Calendar , featuring page 3 Girls and motorbikes .My particular one was 1992.
Featured with me were Donna Ewin, Gaynor Goodman and Marsha Caslin.
I would have been booked for the shoot by John and Vic from Crossbow via my agent Geoff Wotton . As I was based in Nottingham at the time I would be photographed locally , and Donnington track was chosen. Donna, Gaynor and Marsha were London based and consequently photographed in and around London. The logistics of a shoot in this case getting location , model , bikes, photographer in one place can affect cost Donningon would be the ideal location.
I was photographed at 3 locations around the track. Redgate Corner on a RG500 , The main bar at Redgate Lodge ,perched on the bar above a Suzuki GX-R, and on a customised GXSR 1100L and a GSXK 1100K outside The Redgate Lodge ( an Everards Pub) .
These Calendars now exchange hands for upto £100 each with many virtually impossible to get hold off.
I hope this gives an insight into the Calendar. I will do a few other reviews on things like the Penthouse shoots or maybe days down doing page 3 shoots .

Enjoyed the glorious weather with my dogs at one of my fave haunts , Chatsworth House. Doesnt re-open officially untill next week following its refurb , but was still very busy .

Well it may not be like sat on a beach in barbados weather , nor am I ready to ” Cast a clout” as my gran would have said , but the sun is out and long overdue !

I know the weather doesnt seem much like Spring, but more importantly its nearly Easter , and hopefully my chocolate craving will go into overload with easter Eggs. !

Im looking forward to seeing the new film The Wolfman starring Anthony Hopkins. I was fortunate to watch some of the filming at Chatsworth House . a few of the clips shown look great…..X

Its Pancake Day…And as I have no central heating ( see previous blog) i need cheering up…..So !! Lots of pancakes with fresh orange , and a glass or two of wine is the order of the day. X

My central heating broke down at 8am this morning. Straightforward youd think, ring up the service/repairer people and as the agreement says , I will be back up and running asap. Well !! 10 hours later , and still no central heating…I have been assured that they will repair it within 24 hours ie tomorrow morning…..with -3 temperatures promised overnight the evening should be a joy…..now where is the wine !!

If you wait long enough , everything comes around. What was once considered quite nerdy , were Pea Coats, but now they are worn by fashionistas to Rock Stars . Worn with a pair of jeans, they again have that smart casual look which looks great…..need a coat to get you through the rest of the winter , and to look en vogue ….try a Pea Coat .x

It looks like two boozy girly lunches coming up. Ive been contacted by two old friends who i havnt seen for …..well lets just say a long time….
Really looking forward to catching up and seeing them again X

Ive found my absolute fave chocolate in Sainsburys….old jamaica !!! absolutely love it ….will be tucking in later .
